HEALTHY TRAINING FOR DEVELOPING VOICES
Voice Lessons for Children and Teens in Garland, TX
Age-appropriate private voice lessons that build healthy habits, musicianship, confidence, and a lasting relationship with singing.
Young singers deserve training designed for the voice they have now.
Children and teenagers are not small adults. Their voices, attention spans, communication styles, and musical needs continue to develop. VOCES lessons are paced accordingly, with exercises and repertoire selected to encourage healthy coordination without forcing a young voice to imitate an adult sound.
Our goal is not only to help a student sing the next song. We want young singers to understand their instruments, develop musicianship, build confidence, and learn habits that can support a lifetime of healthy singing.

Lessons For Children and Teen Singers
-

Lessons for Children
Focused, encouraging, and age appropriate.
For younger students, lessons combine vocal exploration with musicianship and imaginative, concrete instruction. Activities are varied to maintain attention while developing consistency. The teacher helps the student experience healthy singing through sound, movement, listening, and carefully chosen repertoire.
The Foundations Plan provides four 30-minute private lessons per month for $240 and is designed primarily for students age 14 and younger.

Lessons for Teen Singers
Guidance through a changing voice and growing artistic identity.
Teen singers often balance choir, theatre, school auditions, changing voices, increased musical demands, and questions about their own sound. VOCES gives them a private space to develop reliable technique, make healthy adjustments, and explore who they are becoming as artists.
Students age 14 and older may be recommended for the Performance Plan, four 45-minute lessons per month at $340, or the Mastery Plan, four 60-minute lessons per month at $400, depending on goals and readiness.
Performance Opportunities
Confidence grows when preparation has a purpose
VOCES presents two main concerts each year, giving young singers an opportunity to prepare meaningful repertoire and share their progress in a supportive setting. Additional community experiences may be offered throughout the year.
Performance is approached as part of development, not as a comparison between students. Readiness, repertoire, and individual goals guide participation.
