Online lessons make the VOCES approach available to singers outside the Garland and Dallas-Fort Worth area, as well as local students who prefer the convenience of training from home. Your instructor listens, observes, demonstrates, and adjusts exercises in real time while helping you understand how to practice effectively between sessions.
The format is especially effective for technical exercises, repertoire coaching, diction, interpretation, musicianship, audition preparation, and the development of independent listening skills.

• A computer, tablet, or phone with a working camera and microphone
• A quiet space where you can stand and sing comfortably
• Enough room for the instructor to observe posture and breathing
• A second device or another way to play accompaniment tracks when needed
• Headphones available for conversation, but removed while singing unless your instructor directs otherwise
• Printed or digital music when repertoire is being studied
You do not need professional recording equipment to begin. Your instructor can recommend practical improvements if your goals eventually require a more advanced setup.

Online students may be placed in the same monthly plans as in-person students when the format is appropriate for their age and goals:
• Foundations Plan: four 30-minute lessons per month, $240
• Performance Plan: four 45-minute lessons per month, $340
• Mastery Plan: four 60-minute lessons per month, $400
All online students begin with an Initial Vocal Assessment so VOCES can recommend the appropriate plan and faculty placement.

Do I need an expensive microphone?

No. Most students can begin with the built-in microphone on a current computer, tablet, or phone. Your instructor can help you improve placement and settings before recommending additional equipment.
Can children take online lessons?
Yes, when the format is appropriate for the child's age, attention, independence, and goals. A parent or guardian may need to help with technology, materials, or accompaniment tracks.

Can I take online lessons temporarily while traveling?
